We wanted to inform you about a potential issue when working with SEAL and the newly released Release Candidate version of EBO 7 (version 7.0.1.71) in the PCT2 environment.
If you create a new EBO 7 server in the PCT2 environment and connect to it directly using SEAL without first restarting the server, you may encounter errors when creating design applications. Specifically, SEAL will not be able to create Function Block programs during deployment, and you may see an error message similar to this:
To avoid this issue, please ensure you restart the newly created EBO 7 server in the PCT2 environment after creation and before you start working with it through SEAL.
Please note that downloading applications to live servers has not caused this issue.
