Re: Upgrade DCE 7.2.1 to latest(n-1)

Hi Royce,

That would be a sequential upgrade so you will need to apply the upgrades in the following order:
7.2.1->7.2.2->7.2.4->7.2.5->7.2.6->7.2.7->7.3.1->7.4.0->7.4.1->7.4.3->7.5->7.6->7.7->7.7.1->7.8.0->7.8.1
You can watch the upgrade progress from the server web page. Once the upgrade completes, download & install the updated client, login, make a backup, and start the next upgrade.

For the product download info, you can post your request via the webform:
https://www.apc.com/support/contact/ask_apc.cfm

Kind regards,

Jef

Re: Upgrade DCE 7.2.1 to latest(n-1)

hi Jeff

Thanks for the response. Have requested all softwares. Do we need to upgrade in this order only? can we go from 7.2.1 to 7.3 and then to 7.4 etc?

Re: Upgrade DCE 7.2.1 to latest(n-1)

Hi
It is important to respect the order of passage from one version to another to avoid data loss. You will find a picture on the upgrade order.

Regards!
