Hi Guys,
I add script and change some setting for DCO 8.3 server. Then i can test it with SNMP walk. Finally, I add the OID to client's DCE software. Then our client - HKUST (One of Hong Kong famous university) can view the PUE trending in DCE report.
Unfortunately, I checked that some days the PUE would unplugged for 24 hours randomly. So I guess that it should be the network problem, such as firewall and gateway...
Then I use Wireshark to analysis the client's network and port checking. The DCE and DCO connection was well established. The data packets can transfer smoothly.
Please see the attachment in the excel file. It included the data analysis and screen capture of PUE trending report.
Cheers,

Hi Benjamin,
Additional to the network related interference, as you've already mentioned and investigated, it might also be related to the sensors (such as PDU or rack pdu sensors) that are included in your scripts (in DCO). If for some reason at least one of the sensors involved in the script dose not return data, then the PUE calculations would not be able to continue. So a random disconnection of the sensors could also cause discontinuity in PUE calculations.
Kind regards,
Jef
