Hi All
I have a few NetBotz 755s that I have discovered into DCE however they are not posting any surveillance feed as their Cameras are not showing under the Surveillance Tab.
I followed these steps: Data Center Expert | Discovering a NetBotz 700 Series Appliance | APC Slovakia
However only one unit successfully worked as expected but the other units are still not showing under Surveillance.
I am running on DCE v7.8.1 and NetBotz 5.3.4.
I have added the DCE Certificate to the NetBotz and vice versa but I am getting the following Alarms:
"Device status may be inaccurate because an attempt to transfer a device definition file (DDF) failed."
"Failed to connect to the device API, since the verification of the device's SSL/TLS Certificate has failed. As a result, the device may fail to show any connected cameras."
Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I think that what you need are licenses in the DCE to be able to see the surveillance cameras of the Netbotz part number

Hi Ernesto,
I do have enough Surveillance Licences. Its not that I cannot License the Cameras, but the Camera Thumbnails are not showing at all under the Surveillance Tab.
Looking forward to your feedback.

It'd be really great if any of the links in this thread actually worked. I have 755's, I have surveillance licenses. No camera images.

What eventually worked for me was selecting No Verification under NetBotz 750 Camera Communication Settings
Device>NetBotz Appliance Communication Settings>NetBotz 750 Camera Communication Settings>Edit Communication Settings>SSL Verify Options>No Verification
It is very important to add the correct credentials under NetBotz Appliance Credentials using the "Superuser" Account and the correct Root Account Credentials under Device File Transfer Settings. You can confirm the Root Password by Login into the NetBotz via SSH.
If this does not work, please respond with Screenshots of the Errors you are getting.

Still not working. Installed 3 recently. 2 working fine.
Did a complete factory reset on the 3rd yesterday afternoon. Rediscovered through DCE. Still not appearing in Surveillance. Still no "Netbotz Appliance Configuration" option appearing. All other sensors working fine. On the device the camera is working fine and generating camera alerts.
Even tried using the option to output the config from a known good 755, and importing it into the one with issues.

Found this on another thread. And it works like a dream. Create a set of credentials for the specific netbotz device...
Additionally, I have noticed that in DCE if you have too many wild cards when it comes to this part:
Device menu --> NetBotz Appliance Communication Settings --> NetBotz Appliance Credentials
It may not work. I recommend adding an individual entry with the specific IP of the unit you're having an issue with.
Additionally, if you have added a secondary user and are using that user instead of superuser for the "NetBotz Appliance Credentials" in DCE, please make sure that this user has logged into the NetBotz appliance directly at least once.
Thanks @APC_Steve
