DCO User Fails to Log in in Web Client

Dear Support, 

We have fresh new installation of DCO 8.3.8 and ITA 9.3.11. Both DCOs are freshly installed and users are created with their credentials. 

On first log in, the users are failed to log in. Only root user is accessible and successfully logged in. The admin/web user is failed to log in. 

We checked the user credentials in the webmin in Users and Groups. The password is selected automatically predefined password. Although we modify it to Normal password yet the option resets itself to predefined password. 

Can you kindly advise what could cause this issue and hoe to resolve it?

Hi Hranto,

User(s) created during the installation can only access the server (via server Webmin interface and/or console/ssh login), same goes for users created via the server Webmin interface.

ITA application has its own user administration. 

After a successful installation of ITA (or DCO), login to web-client (https://<ITA server IP>) using the default credentials:

Username: apc

Password: apc

you will be prompted to change the password (on first login).
If you need to create new users, then go to Administration > Users , and click on the 'ADD USER' 

It is recommended to create a new user (with admin privilege's) and remove/delete the 'apc' user.
