DCE not serving certificate chain

Howdy, I'm trying to install a commercial chained certificate in DCE (7.9.2) and have used the instructions here:
https://www.se.com/ww/en/faqs/FA407973/
to add the intermediated and root certificates from the chain under Server SSL Certificates. DCE now serves up the server cert, but not the rest of the chain.
I've verified this with s_client and it's causing problems with clients that don't have the intermediate certs cached.

Is there a solution for this that will cause DCE to (correctly) serve up the intermediate certs?
