We are having a trouble to login to Data Center Expert (DCE) .
Getting " invalid network address or timeout error"
The IP is replying to ping. Nothing new in .iscx folder log file.
Please advise. Thank you.

Hello @netbotz_user,
I have a few questions to help guide troubleshooting:
1) Is this for a DCE physical appliance or virtual appliance?
-
2) Are you able to log into the console with the apcsetup account and verify the network settings(Keyboard/monitor for physical or VM console)
-
3) Please verify that there are no duplicate IP addresses on your network by disconnecting the DCE server and trying to ping again.
-
4) Have you rebooted your server?
-
5) If you are running DCE as a VM, what are the hardware resources that are provided to the server? (RAM, CPU, size and number of hard disks)
-
If the system is able to be pinged, but the web interface or desktop client will not connect there is likely an issue that is preventing the software on the server from starting. Whether further investigation is needed (beyond the above questions), log files need to be looked at / analyzed, or a recovering a system through restoring a backup, you will need to reach out to technical support for the correct information for your setup.
Kind Regards,
Cory

Thanks, Cory.
The VM with server has been moved/migrated on the network and we've lost connection/correct path to it over DCE.
even though all botz devices and cameras are still functioning and sending out alerts/messages. we have no management control over it. (Only via Advanced View). Schneider Tech support suggested to build a new VM server under the same IP and add on all the botz devices manually by their IPs in DCE ( lucky us we only have 15 nodes to play with). Still having an issue with DCE 7.8.1 can't discovery/find devices. Updating SSL certificates on server side is not helping.
