Hi,
I'm trying to obtain an SSL certificate for our DCE server. I created the CSR as described below:
Once I get the string to be decoded I get the error here below on the left:
Could you please help me understand what the issue is?
Thank you
Silvia

which version of DCE are you running? Do you have an a FQDN in your Common name CN field, eg DCE.mydomain.com? DCE uses the CN in the SAN field, so the only reason I could think this would happen is if you are using 127.0.0.1 in the CN field. If you were trying to generate a signed SSL cert, it should contain a valid FQDN.
As the directions state, if you are not running the latest version of DCE, 7.8 or 7.9, it is also recommended that you upgrade to one of these versions. This will require an active support contract.

Hi Andrew,
I'm running DCE 7.8.1 and in CN there is the hostname (FQDN) of our DCE server, that's why I am confused by the error. I tried to rewrite it just in case but the issues remains.
