DCE 7.8.0 Web Client - Home Page Timeout

Dears,

DCE monitoring systems ideal time out more than 15 minute error appearing. Even after the checked remain active check box, still repeating the Home timeout issue.

The screenshot attached for your kind reference.

Please advice.

I have seen this on a number of deployments and would be very interested in the solution also. We have tried different browser without any success.

Hi @Venkat ,

This is a known issue and I've reported it to engineering. There is no workaround that I am aware of at this time.
I have added this post to the issue report so that engineering can see that customers still see this as an issue.

I would expect more effort. This issue is addressed for over 2 years now. At least we should get some feedback what took them so long........

I honestly can not speak for engineering specifically on this issue however I do know it is not something that is critical like a vulnerability. I can honestly say that this post is about the only place I've heard people noting this issue and like any other issue, the more people contacting us about an issue, the more likely it is to have the people that make these decisions actually take a look at the issues.

What I can say is that after again speaking again with engineering and product management, I am told that a fix for this is in 8.0 which should be released some time in Q2 as at this point. Please note this is just an estimate and release dates can change.
