Hello,
I have 2x Vertif/Liebert UPSs that I have imported into my DCE. I am testing what the email alerts look like when they get generated. Right now, the email headers have the "Label" of the UPS but I am looking to either change the Label or what field is in the email header so it is more descriptive of what circuit/UPS is sending alerts. Right now, it shows "<IP address of UPS" - Modbus Server 1". I created a custom field that has the circuit name and that is currently showing in the "Map" view. Is there a way to either change the Label of the UPS or change a field in the notification email header so it says something like "<IP address of UPS> - Circuit A"?
Thanks!

Hello,
you cannot change labels on modbus devices without a custom ddf file(which is not recommended without some knowhow)
on latest version of DCE 8.1 seems like was added this option(I did not tested yet this version)
New option to customize device labels
You can now customize device labels for SNMP and Modbus devices. Right click the device and select Device Label Settings.
