Ran across this today and I could see this being pretty dangerous if you're not paying attention. This is in v7.8.1. Possible to line up a fix for a future release?
The issue:
In the Apply Firmware Updates dialog, you:
- search for a device, and then check its box
- Clear the search filter
- Collapse the Device Update group that device was in (e.g. SUMX 6.9.6/6.9.6)
- Expand that same group
At this point, all the devices in that group are checked...
If you're not paying attention, this could cause some problems.

Hi @marting ,
I thought I'd remembered seeing this issue in the past but was unable to find any mention of it in our system.
I was able replicate it so I posted it in our firmware tracking system.
I can't state when it might get looked at but I've got it logged and noted this post in that log as well.
Thanks,
Steve
