3D temperature map issuesl

Hi,

I’m trying to create a 3D map of server room using DCO 8.2.7.

The design is a POD Cold aisle containment using inrows.

I got all the equipment electrified (power path-Ups to Pdu).

I know my IT power consumption so my design was according.

When trying to create calculated CFD temperature map using the 3D temperature plane calculation I’m having an Error “There were server issues computing the temperature map”

“There were one or more issues that may affect the accuracy of the temperature map”

“Insufficient cooling, so the temperature may be inaccurate”

I tried rebooting the server.

I added extra inrows.

I created bigger room and copied the whole POD.

I checked the cold aisle and the rows.

With no success.

Here some screenshots.

Any idea?

Help will be appreciated.

Hi Gregory,

Ones again thanks for your reply.

The idea of moving the two power panels didn’t work.

I tried many other tricks like:

Deleting the door

Adding CRAH with one perforated tile.

Taking the two pp outside of the room.

All that with no success

Eventually I recalled an issue that I had with inrows of a different manufacturer, in that case I took apc ACRC301S and changed the name and model.

I didn’t believe that it will be the same.

In the genome there are two 301s inrows.

Only one of them is suitable.

I couldn’t believe that SE/APC SXW referred them differently.

I attached the inrows and the ONE that is right (selected).

Best regards

Hello Amit

If you pull the two devices in the top side of your screenshot slightly off the wall does the insufficient cooling error disappear?

If referring to these two items.

Hi Gregory,

Thank you for your reply.

Do you mean this two Power Panel?

If yes I will try first thing tomorrow and I will let you know.

Best regards

Yes, correct.

Just a little bit off the wall.

So changing the inrow to an APC model worked?

Can you share which cooling device you were using previously so I can check whether there's a problem I need to file?

Regards

I used the other one that is in the list.

The one that is not selected.
