Inquiry About Using CRA31210 Service Port for Modbus Device Connection
Hi Everyone,
I would like to confirm whether the service port on the Modicon RIO Drop CRA31210 can be used to connect directly to an external Modbus TCP device for data exchange.
My understanding is that the service port is primarily intended for engineering and maintenance purposes, but I would like to verify if it can also function as a communication channel for Modbus TCP between the RIO drop and third-party devices.
If supported, could you please provide any relevant configuration guidelines or documentation? If not, could you suggest an alternative approach for achieving this type of connection?
