I am inserting a new Modbus TCP device and adding a request of RD adress = 1000 and Length = 4
In the Variables List I am getting a corresponding Inputs Free0 array [0..3] of BYTE.
How can I change that to an Inputs Free0 array [0..1] of INT?

Hello,
Your screenshot are from Control Expert, not EAE ;-).
To answer, in the CE DTM select your 4 bytes to redefine them (manually) in Array of 2 words (or INT).

Seb

Thanks for the reply.
Note that the variable has the lock symbol.
I tried a double click on the Type field, but I do get the dropdown to select the Type nor it does allow me to write anything in there.
