HMI / Alarm High and Low

I'd like to configure the Alarm Low and Alarm High values for an analog input. However, instead of opening the built-in faceplate of the AnalogInput, I prefer to set these values from another canvas using SpReal CAT. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Hi Eli,

I think we can't use SP Real CAT for alarm configuration. Instead, you can configure it using offline parametrization, not by opening the faceplate. However, please note that this is a one-time configuration. If you need to configure the setpoint later, you'll have to do it either from the offline parameter or the faceplate.

As shown in the image you can Configure the LimitSp from offline parametrization.

Thanks a lot for your reply, Mohamed!

I guess offline parameterization is not available from the HMI panel.

I would like to change the parameters related to the AnalogInput, from a separate canvas in the HMI panel, rather than the built-in faceplate of the AnalogInput.

Hi Eli,

Yes, offline parameterization is not available from the HMI panel.
