Communication with other PLC's / Messaging

Can anyone give me an example of setting up communications between EAE and an Allen Bradley PLC?

I can't figure out how to set up the EIP communication.

Hello Nick,

Can you please explain what you want to accomplish ? DPACs (M2xxx, M580d and Soft dPAC) can act as EIP scanner and your PLC can be added surely. Please refer to user manual on EIP.

If you want to have explicit request there is a Function Block for that named EIP_Explicit  but it is limited today (single read write attribute) and it is not yet compatible with all devices.
