Cause
The BACnet Object "Temperature Setpoint" includes properties Minimum and Maximum values
These can be used to limit the setpoint, however the values are not saved in non volatile memory, thus the value revert to default after a power cycle (0 and 50 degC). The Setpoint object needs to be manually downloaded from EBO following a power cycle to set these properties. These properties cannot be written to individually. Thus changing these properties is unlikely to be good practice.
Resolution
A script program can be used to set limits to the Temperature Setpoint. Example below
Note the "Value transfer settings" need changing to "Transfer value each time..." as below
