The BMX AMI 0810
is installed for ballast water treatment system on board the ship.
there are 4 tro sensor to control the concentration the ozon in ballast water.
ETRO HALOGEN D01 Display send the analogue signal to The BMX AMI 0810 channel 1. cables were disconnected and did not marked.(((
how to recognize what polarity should be on cables.( el.digrams are not actual because system was updated but without doc. records).
voltage on inputs analogue is 0. then cables are disconnected from tro display. according to tro display output signal is 4-20mA .
there are no possibility to check configuration of the channels.
is it dangerous to cross the polarity for damage the channel? and how possible to recognize proper connection?
can be that tro display creates a voltage signal and plc channel transfer to receive the voltage together with mA current (COM receive the + signal ?
