new X80 Advanced RTU Module BMENOR2200H
The Modicon X80 Advanced RTU BMENOR2200H module has been released and is supported in the Modicon M580 PAC platform. It offers more advanced features that the previous Modicon RTU Module, the BMXNOR0200H. The BMENOR2200H provides better performance and feature including a more cyber secured design. It complies with TLS/SA RTU protocols.
The first initial release of BMENOR2200H on April 2020 supports DNP3 SAv2/5 in a Modicon M580 PAC standalone CPUs. The current release adds the IEC60870-5-104 protocol plus Hotstanby configuration. There are no commercial and hardware change. In fact, the initial version of the module can be upgraded via firmware to upgrade the features with the current version. The BMENOR2200H can also be used in the Modicon M580 Safety controllers as it is considered as a Non-Interfering Type 1 (certified by TÜV Rheinland).
The BMENOR2200H is plugged into the local Ethernet Backplane, allowing remote devices to easily access the NOR module with less wiring.
DTM with EcoStruxure Control Expert is used to configure the BMENOR2200H. Along with this, a new version of the DTM can support Microsoft Excel file, allowing customers to leverage their Excel skills for bulk RTU configurations.
