Object Properties Coordinate

Hi all,

Firstly I am new to Citect (or Plant scada) world, so please apologize for the mistake.

I have several experience  with some other brand of HMI or Scada design but not with Citect. I wonder how to move and object to any X,Y coordinate in Graphic Builder of this Citect.

regards

bin mulyadin

Hi @binmulyadin ,

It is not possible to set position of the graphic object. However you can see current coordinates on right bottom part of Graphics Builder window. You can select the object and drag until you get it on desired position. You can move object from keyboard arrow keys also.

Coordinates 1668,926Coordinates 1668,926

I suggest to explore below options in Graphics Builder which may help you further in this.

Hi @binmulyadin

Welcome to the Plant SCADA community! I still think of the product as "Citect" 🙂

It is possible to move an object to any X,Y coordinate.

Simply select the object you want to move (left click).

Then in the "Arrange" menu, select "Adjust Position and Size".

Enter the X,Y coordinates you want to set (it will initially show the existing position).

Leave the Size at 100, to maintain its existing size.

Click Apply or Ok to finish the move.

Good luck with the rest of your learning journey.

There are some great courses on learningacademy.aveva.com

Or you can read through forums / online help or just explore the product to learn more.

Kind regards

Olivier
