I have an APC UPS ES500 and only the surge protector outlets are working. When I push the on button, the light goes solid green, but after about 5 seconds, the light goes out and it sounds a continuous beep until I push the button off. I have tried to reset the battery, but it is still the same. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong? Do I need a new battery?
