Hi there. We have an open room with a couple of 2 post (AR201) and 4 post (AR203) racks. The racks hold a few large servers, UPSs and switch / routing equipment. The rooms are quite large and our organization, that is in the middle of a growth stint, needs to place a few individuals to work full time in this space. These individuals are not close to the racks, but due to the configuration of the room, the sound of all of the fans is quite loud and can be very distracting.
Can anyone suggest what they think the best method / device would be to isolate these racks from the rest of the room, while simultaneously dropping the noise the fans create in the room? BTW - We cannot build a room around these racks due to A/C system limitations that prevent us from putting a dedicated vent into this area.
