Set Battery Install Date
Hello there,
we recently replaced some APCRBC124 & APCRBC157 Batteries and would like to set the install date accordingly. Do we need a Standard or Advanced Monitoring Plan in order to do that or how exactly does it work? Thank you very much in advance!

Since you have provided no information as to the specific APC UPS. My reply will be over generalized to cover as many possible solutions.
Almost every APC UPS that uses Power Chute software via USB / Serial can use this software application to update the battery installation date.
Enterprise class APC UPS systems with a front LCD menu the battery installation date can be entered once the new battery cartridge has been installed and detected.
Those systems that incorporate a rear Smart Slot for the Network Management Card (NMC). The user can enter the internal webpage and update the battery installation date.
APC UPS systems with a serial number ending in a letter (C) denote hardware that support the APC Smart Connect Portal Cloud Service.
All of these Smart Connect enabled devices will have a green coloured RJ45 Ethernet port with a cloud symbol on the rear of the frame.
The system will have a QR code affixed to the rear, top, front of the frame. To allow the end user to enrol and setup the Smart Connect Service.
If none of the three items are present the hardware is (NOT) Smart Connect capable.
