I have an old SMX3000RMLV2U, running 01.9 (ID10) firmware. I was trying to see if there are any newer firmware versions for it. I cant find anything about firmware for one that is on that old of a version.
I am running a NMC 2 (AP9630) updated to firmware 7.0.8.
Thanks in advance for any info.

I realize this post was from last year, but I had the same question on the same exact unit just today. I found that you can download firmware to be updated via the web interface here - https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA170679/
I downloaded and successfully applied the 15.0 firmware for my SMX Smart-UPS today.

I have the SMX2000RMLV2U running 01.6 (ID10) firmware. I did looked at the firmware link and saw the newer ones but none of them talked about for those with ID10 specifically. I realize ID10 is legacy now and when it does get updated will have a new ID #.
I know the OP said SMX3000RMLV2U which is basically the same as mine with a smaller battery size. This still falls about ID10 as it's needs to be specific on how to upgrade it.

I also have a few older APC SmartUPS units that were not on the list. I just assumed they didn't make newer firmware for it, or only a Schneider technician could install it due to it being a more complex and potentially system breaking procedure. Sorry to not have better news, good luck!

Ya, at this point due to it's age and safety reasons I've decided to retire them. We're going to move the servers to our data center next year anyway and will retire any remaining active APC units at that time.
