Problem with BackUPS 950

Dear Sir or Madam,

we got a new APC Back UPS 950 and the battery will not charge over 10%. The device is connected until 24 hours.

Beside that the device smells a little bit burned after we connected a PC to the APC.

Do you have any ideas?

These things usually have two batteries and usually one will fail before the other. Look at the diagnostics lights on it and tell us what you see upsers
