My apologies for the previous posts. I was using FireFox, and the bulk of my message was missing for some reason. Anyway. We use a ACPA4000 to cool our server room. It is the only piece of equipment not on a UPS. When we have a power outage the cooler will power back up, but not into cool mode. Some times there is no air flow even though the staus panel shows all the settings are the same, cool mode, blower on low, setpoint same. Sometimes it comes back up but in vent only mode, evn though again the settings indicate it is in cooling mode. To get it operating we have to manually change the mode from cool to vent or off then back, or change form the default schedule (always on) to another schdeule then back. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

sorry for the delay..
Unfortunately, the ACPA 4000 has a compressor and it is unlikely you will find a cost effective solution to battery back up this unit. The compressor has a huge in rush current that will overload all but the most largest of UPS's and we don't recommend putting them on one. The PA 4000 is a portable unit and will need to be manually turned back on after a power outage.
