I'm trying to setup snmp v3 with authPriv via cli by following to AP8886X657:
apc>snmpv3 -S enable
E002: Success
Reboot required for change to take effect.
!!!reboot cycle done here!!!
apc>snmpv3 -c1 myownenoughlongpass -a1 myownenoughlongpass -ap1 md5 -pp1 aes -ac1 enable -au1 p1user -u1 p1user
E000: Success
At this point I'm trying to do snmp data retrieval:
$ snmpbulkwalk -v3 -l authPriv -a MD5 -u p2user -A myownenoughlongpass -x AES -X myownenoughlongpass 192.168.10.100 SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.318.1.4.2.4.1.3.1
Timeout: No Response from 192.168.10.100
So it does not work.
Only way to get it working is to go to Web UI and set passphrases from there. Setting them to something else.
After setting passphrases via Web UI I can change them via cli and then those set by cli do work.
So now re-set
apc>snmpv3 -c1 myownenoughlongpass -a1 myownenoughlongpass -ap1 md5 -pp1 aes -ac1 enable -au1 p1user -u1 p1user
E000: Success
And now it works
snmpbulkwalk -v3 -l authPriv -a MD5 -u p1user -A myownenoughlongpass -x AES -X myownenoughlongpass 192.168.10.100 SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.318.1.4.2.4.1.3.1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.318.1.4.2.4.1.3.1 = STRING: "apc_hw05_aos_656.bin"
FW used is 6.5.6 or 6.4.6, both work similarly.
I'm I missing something at cli? Does anyone else have same issue?

Hi Petteri,
This is a bug that we currently have open and are investigating. As of today the only workaround is, as you've seen, to go through the web interface and apply the changes that way.
