Does anyone have any or access to official information on the failure mechanism and causes and worst case conditions that cause the overheating issue mentioned in this PRB-239058 product safety notification?
IE if the units are powered down do they need monitored or is the power down process inherently safe?

Hello,
An internal battery nonconformance was identified in Smart-UPS On-Line UPS systems using 192V
battery cartridges made between May 6th, 2019 and May 10th, 2020 .
This problem could affect the battery performance and, in a very low number of cases, result in a
thermal event
Affected customers are being notified via a Product Safety Notice. Some customers may be entitled to
or referred to the service team to execute the inspection and proactive replacement, if applicable. The
service team should follow the instructions
I had attached a template of the notification related to this issue ,we recommends to contact your local CCC team to initiate a replacement if batteries serial number under the affected range
Regards,
Karim
