How do I use SNMP to turn off or on or power delay for every port via a simple script. It needs to be done using SNMP though.
Anywhere I can find some information on how to do this?
Thanks in advance

The easiest way to test this would be to download GetIf and load the MIB in the MIB folder of GetIf once installed.
Then input the IP address for it to connect to it within GetIf, and then go to the MBrowser section, input the OID # and hit Go. That should give you the value if correctly communicating.
If you need screenshots with GetIf, let me know. I can have them posted tomorrow.

Sorry what I meant was I can run SNMP via a standard ethernet connection correct with the 7900. I do not have to use RS232 or a tenlet session right. I want to be able to use a 3rd party management tool that uses SNMP.

You would be able to do these commands via an Ethernet connection correct? Sorry for the noob question on this. I am pretty sure I can but need to know for sure.
Thanks

Not sure what you mean by "Ethernet" connection if it's as straightforward as I assume. You can't even walk a MIB file for a device without there being a valid network connection.
