7911b display shows zero and bank 2 not working
I just bought a used 7911b PDU and bank 1 powers up. I can use it.
I have a server, with about 1.3PB of storage powered through Bank1. On my previous non-switched meter this was roughly 5amps.
However, when reading the display on this PDU, it just says zero. Also, I notice the bank selection lights are not illuminated. So maybe that's how the previous owners configured it? Is that a configuration option? to not show amps?
The second bank also has no power. I've tried turning off the 15a breaker waiting a minute and back on. nothing. I've also tried unhooking the PDU for a minute and reconnecting. Nothing.
The seller says it's likely that the previous owner disabled the bank 2 and did something with the display. I have a USB serial adapter and applicable Serial telephone cable on order. Should be here tomorrow.
But I'm questioning if I'm dealing with a lemon here. Anyone have any advice of things I can do, prior to using COM, to confirm this thing isn't good?
The lower status light beside the cat45 is blinking orange. which I think just means it's trying to get a DHCP/BOOTP address. So I assume that's ok given I haven't configured it yet.
In short,
Thoughts on the display reading 0 when under load? And the entire bank being turned off? Thank you.
