RemoteConnect reset Input pulse DI1 as Counter 10kHz

Hi

I want to Reset or preset the DI1 configured as Counter 10kHz. The input name is Counter_1

I tried to set Counter_1.VALUE = 0 in the SCADAPackx70 Logic but the counter don't reset.

Can someone tell me how to reset or preset this counter?

Thank you.

Hi Richadam,

today I called the technician service and they toll me that it is not possible to restart the counter of the input by the Scadapack x70 Logic. It is possible only by the RemoteConnect object.

Did you run simulations to check the output of your case statement? Did you try to reset to see if the count starts? I say this because before the reset, cnt variable will be high impedance z (no value defined)...

What things did you actually try?

I'm pretty sure that I've done this before.  My recollection is that I used an OBJ_WriteField EFB like below:

Did you try this?

The other option is the first doesn't work would be to give a few of the bits in the COUNTER_OBJ_CONFIG a bit of a twiddle.

Schneider obviously need to document/design this interface better.  Resetting counters isn't an unheard of thing, and it should be pretty straight forward (or at least documented).
