EOTE 3.3 SP1: Making profit of Master Screen objects inheritance feature, aiming to possibly address different target resolutions

Hi all,

Master screen associated to a folder offers quite a smart objects inheritance feature, allotted to any screen that is located in the considered folder. This is true not only for objects defined in the header or in the footer of the Master Screen, but also to any kind of object that is defined on this Master Screen.

Unfortunately, Master screen behaves as a common canvas screen, and does not offers to behave as a ViewBow screen. As a result, changing the type/dimensions of the target does not result in tthe Master Screen objects size adaptation. This make it not (currently) adapted to consider using Master Screen to design a Template screen that would deliver the comon parts to the 'son' screens placed inside of a folder, while in the same time automatically adapting the size of these common objets embbed on this Master Screen when changing the type/resolution of the target HMI.

Any comment, alternative strategy ? (apart from using a grid holding common parts, and hosting some content display(s) to dynamically show different contents)
