I'm looking for a switched PDU which has outlet level metering. I tried searching APC products but didn't find any model with outlet level monitoring. May be I'm looking at wrong place. Is there any APC switched PDU with individual outlet monitoring?

our next generation rack PDUs, AP86XX will offer this feature. we don't have any products available today that really do this. there is a high density three phase PDU that sort of does it because it only has (6) outlets on it and each outlet is a bank.

regardless, we will offer AP86XX Switched Rack PDUs with Metering Per Outlet in April of 2011.

I use many APC switched PDUs in my office; recently I found cheap alternative [http://www.echola.com/power] . I personally like the Desktop model spdu-108l which supports many parameters that can be monitored in real time such as real, apparent, reactive power, frequency, phase angle, power factor, voltage, current, temperature... and works great!. but their rack mount model only support rms current and its per outlet monitoring is not real time (snap shot).

In particular, new SKUs AP8641, AP8653, and AP8661 support outlet-level metering (in amps and kw). Hope this helps.
