firmware update for ap9619 from linux

I'm trying to find the latest firmware files for an ap9619, which I understand to be a 'network management' card - 'nmcard' (as opposed to the 'web management' card - 'webcard'). I've dug through the ftp site here - ftp://ftp.apcc.com/apc/public/hardware/nmcard/firmware/, but the files in the 'aos' and 'sumx' directories are older than what I've already got - I'm currently running:

Network Management Card AOS v2.5.0
Smart-UPS & Matrix-UPS APP v2.5.1

The 'download shortcuts' link on the apcc site only seems to have the executable all-in-one, which I can read the contents of, but not unpack on my linux (ubuntu 8.1) management station.

Is there somewhere I can download the just the aos and sumx files to do a basic ftp upgrade?

thanks,

ch

Sweet! renaming the .exe was the missing bit of info - thanks to both of you for the tips.

Rename the executable all-in-one .zip instead of .exe, and then unzip it.

test:~ voidstar$ unzip ~/Downloads/apc_hw02_aos361_sumx358.zip
Archive: /Users/voidstar/Downloads/apc_hw02_aos361_sumx358.zip
  inflating: apc_hw02_aos_361.bin
  inflating: apc_hw02_sumx_358.bin
  inflating: winftp32.dll
 extracting: config.txt
 extracting: iplist.txt
  inflating: upgrd_util.exe
  inflating: apc_hw02_aos_202.bin
 extracting: go.bat
Yeah, I wish they didn't assume everyone uses a Windows machine.

also, the files on the public FTP site are definitely not the ones you want to use. download the executable for the AP9619 from the software and firmware section of the apc.com if you havent already, AOS 3.6.1 and SUMX 3.5.8, and then you can unzip it has voidstar mentioned and [follow these directions|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=768]

hope that helps!
