Sorry for the delay. I don't know if we have this feature yet on apc.com or the forums. I try to post when we have any critical updates available or those people have been asking here for specifically..

If you happen to have StruxureWare Data Center Expert, that tool searches for firmware updates too.

Everything we have is posted here: http://www.apc.com/us/en/tools/download/ but there is admittedly sometimes a lag between when the firmware is available and "released" vs. when it gets posted to the apc.com website.

For example, 6.5.2 for Rack PDU AP8XXX and AP7XXXB models has been available for a few months and we are only getting it posted on apc.com this week (I hope).

Long story short, I don't think what you're looking for (which is a totally reasonable expectation) exists..  if it does, I am not familiar with it.

Thank you for the update. I have located 6.5.2 on the ftp. Is that considered stable and released or should I wait for it to be officially posted to the download site?

AP8941's are the majority of what I have so that works well. I guess I could just refresh the ftp list every month or two looking for an update, that's probably not reliable though.

Mainly I'm just looking to stay up to date. If someone else looks at our equipment and finds a newer version of firmware, I get the 3rd degree as to why it hasn't been applied. Just going around and looking for firmware updates to various devices is a time consuming process. Thank you again for the info, for now I'll just manually check every now and then for updates.

If you have a suggestion box, firmware release notifications is something I'd put in. 🙂

Yes, I'm with you. We should definitely have some sort of newsletter or other to cover all of our products. I will make sure that I inform the appropriate folks about this and see if something is in the works already.

Yes 6.5.2 is final and stable. You can certainly load that. It should be on the website in a few hours as it was "released" to show on apc.com yesterday after some major delays in that process.

We will have a 6.5.4 for AP8XXX coming in about 6-8 weeks I think too.
