Dear Everybody!
We try to upgrade UPS form SC620 to SMX750. In theory both have serial smart interface, so we need just replace UPS form old to new one.
But in practice SC has DB9 connector, SMX has RJ45 connector. Looks like this major difference, because PowerChuteBE handle it in a different way.
It is no way to configure UPS smart connector type, and no way to refresh/reinstall PowerChuteBE.
Therefore no way to upgrade from SC to (e.g.) SMX UPS!?
Our UPSs driven SLES servers.
Any idea?

Hi,
You should uninstall the version of PowerChute that is running, attach the serial cable that shipped with the SMT750 (SKU 940-0625), download the latest version of PowerChute from APC.com, and install the new version.

But there is no description (way) how to do this for linux/unix type operating system.
I found some description from windows, but is is useless for other kind of operating system.
