Hi,
I've deployed 29 Smart-UPS 2200XL and RM XL UPSs and connected Cisco PoE switches to about half of them.
When I view the Load in Watts using the Web interface of the NIC card, the vast majority of them show a load (ranging from about 6 - 12%) and a corresponding battery runtime of about 1.5 hours. But 2 or 3 of them show 0.0% load and a very long runtime (4.5 hours). All UPS NIC cards have been upgraded to the latest software version.
This is wierd. Any explanation? Bug perhaps?
I've attached a screen shot. I can assure you that 2 Cisco 24 port PoE switches are plugged into this UPS. Just to ensure that the UPS is working correctly I unplugged the UPS from power and the switches continued to stay up.
Thanks in advance for your help, Ian.

hi Ian.
The UPS is the least accurate at very low loads versus when fully loaded as far as load reporting. i have seen this before. if the load is barely an amp or between one and two amps, it might show no load. it is not a bug and would be related to the UPS reporting, not the network management card.
i wouldnt be concerned as long as the UPS provides the expected runtime and functions correctly.
we missed your screenshot but i can imagine what it looks like 😉
