Smart-UPS RT 2200 XL with new batteries and no self-test or runtime calibration

The UPS has 3.5 years. Last week there was a power outage for a few minutes and the UPS acted as if there were no batteries: the computers were turned off ...

Before the power came back I did some testing. The only things I could do: push the button to turn off and all LEDs turned off. After I pressed the power button, releasing the second beep and there was a sequence of LED lighting and deleting and relays noises, ending with the Fault LED on.

At my command it starts the self-test or calibration, but soon abandons any of the two.

As the batteries may have been old, I decided to change them. The same thing happens. I tried to calibrate with more than 30% load and the reactions are always the same: Relay noises, LEDs in a sequence, ending with the fault LED on.

It sounds like your UPS was likely in bypass operation when you had the power outage. It appears to be in bypass (operating on utility power) because of an internal fault. Based on what you describe and what I see in the log, I think your UPS likely requires some repair (or replacement) depending on where you're located and its warranty status. cry
