Hi Evryone!
I need Your advice:
My APC Smart-UPS SC1500I (Powerchute Business Edition) don't start-up selftest, when i scheduled it in Diagnostic Settings.
Manualy self-test works, selftest date was change but when passed 7 days, nothing new in Event Log.
What i've done:
Update Agent Web Interface
Change UPS to the same model.
Nothing change.
Please help !
Pozdrawiam/Best regards
Marcin

Hi Marcin,
Looking into Logging > Log Settings
Ensure Enable event logging is checked
Go to Diagnostics > select “self-test” and apply
Go back to logging > event log to ensure you see the correct date and time of the self test just carried out. If you see the correct details,
Back to diagnosis > perform self test > UPS start-up and every 7 days since last test
You should see the test status to be in progress, passed, failed, refused, aborted, cancelled, completed or unknown.
What do you see in diagnosis > self test status > last self test status?

Hi Marcin,
I would have said you have everything in place to work correctly.
Ensure the load the UPS is supplying is protected.
You could follow the FAQ to brain dead your UPS.
APC.com Support > Resources and tools > FAQs > Search for FA156611
Here you should find “How to cold start and brain dead Smart-UPS”
If you follow the process for SMC, SMT and SMX.
