SURTD and SURT adjusting sensitivity. It's possible?

Is there any way of adjusting in put voltage sensitivity and frequency in Smart RT series UPS?

It's there a difference between the SURTD5000XLI and SURT5000XLI that would a affect UPS behavior while running under a genset?

The thing is that the old model worked fine till it cracked and the new one, the D series runs into battery for a brief instant every time a load is turned on.

Could be this a some common failure with the UPS? Or its just a Genset problem? Geny: Onan 4.8kW QD 5000 diesel.

Thanks!

Clarkson,

I need help. Our model is SURTD5000XLT. Can the input voltage and frequency be adjusted. We are using a 13000 watts
generator but with fluctuating voltage. 195 to 206 V AC. Can the UPS be adjusted to adopt to this fluctuation.

Thanks in advance

Thanks! Do you know what is the pulse-rectifier setting for the Smart RT series UPS?

Clarkson,

Is there a difference between XLI and XLT?
I need help on adjusting the input voltage and frequency for this model.
The 13000 watts generator out voltage is 195 to 206 V ac. How do I adjust the UPS to make it adopt to this input range?

Thanks

XLI is a 230v international model and XLT is a north american model that is designed for 208v or 240v.

on the 230v, it is designed for a phase, neutral and ground connection for a single phase connection. the north american model is used with two phases and a ground connection.

if there is an option to change the output, you can do it via the network management card or RT control menu most likely. do you have the NMC set up? if not, you can set that up or plan on directly connecting to the RT with a serial cable.
