Sounds good. I'll check back on here Monday. I am a little concerned with the "On Battery" LED being lit in the picture you sent.

Hi Hayford - where did you see this alarm? Within the UPS Network Management Card Interface or on the UPS LCD display, or some place else? Please clarify and depending on when you saw it, can you provide a screenshot or some other reference? I am not familiar with this fault specific to Symmetra LX as indicated in the subject line so would like to clarify.

Hi Hayford,

I am checking with someone else. If you require urgent support on this faster than I can get a response, I suggest that you contact your local support office. Otherwise, I'll respond back as soon as my colleague responds.

*Edit* - he responded directly back to you here laughing

Hi Hayford. It might be faster and easier for you to contact your local tech support via phone. Generally, this fault is an internal communication issue that may require multiple branching troubleshooting steps. I'll be more than happy to assist you here if you wish.

What first needs to be done is to determine if it is a communication issue.

Are you able to navigate around the display at all? If you are able to the go to the "Status" menu and scroll through there and tell us if you see any funny characters or missing data. The next thing I would want to know is if you are able to access the network management card. The network management card and the display share the same communication bus. If there are funny characters/missing data on the display and/or the network card is not accessible then try unplugging the display from the front and plugging it into the back. On the back of the LX is a "Communication Card" and on that card is an RJ45 port labeled "Remote PowerView". Plug the display into this port and see if there is any change with what is displayed. Also, if the network card was not accessible then see if it becomes accessible shortly after you disconnect the display.

We can start with this and see what happens.

-David
