What is the difference between the older AP9630 NMC2 cards with a shorter vertical slot/opening on the right-hand side of the card's front panel, and the newer AP9630 NMC2 cards with a taller slot? Just replaced an older Smart UPS 2200 (SUA2200RM2U) with a newer Smart UPS 2200 (SMT2200RM2U), and mistakenly assumed that the old AP9630 NMC2 could be re-used. It did not fit because there is a taller tab that requires the taller slot/opening to accommodate it.
What is the difference - I thought any AP9630 NMC2 would be sufficient.

As suggested, I called tech support and they happily sent me a replacement faceplate.

There was a run of those cards that incorrectly had the smaller tab. I forget the serial number range, but I think it was from 2009. I think if you call tech support with the card's serial number, they can send you a replacement faceplate. If not, post a reply and one of the APC folks here can probably get it to you.

Yeah, I just had the same problem, faceplate with APC (not Schneider) and short slot on RHS. PCB REV05 Copyright 2008.
I wanted to put the 9630 in an SMT1000, but it won't go.
So thanks for the info, I'll get the hacksaw out now....
