The Nitto vacuum pump is 115VAC / 60Hz, 95 watt. It has a linear reciprocating piston. See spec: http://www.nitto-kohki.eu/en/products-en/pumps-a-compressors/ac-pumps/item/vp-0940.html
See the mechanism of free piston driven pump video: http://www.nitto-kohki.eu/en/video-en/pumps-a-air-compressors-videos.html
The APC UPS initially used to power the pump is the BX1000M. Unfortunately this UPS failed to run the pump properly, it made noises and ran for a few minutes at half the flow rate. I need a correctly sized UPS with the correct topology that will properly run the pump at full volume rate of 40 L/min, for at least 15 minutes.
Suggested replacement: BR1500MS2. Can someone confirm that this UPS will run the pump correctly?

Hg

Hi @mercury762
Thank you for reaching out to the SE Community, my name is Jon and I will assist you with this query. Apologies for the late revert, our Back-UPSs are meant to be used for an IT type of load. If you are planning to use an APC UPS to support the vacuum pump, I highly suggest that you reach out to the manufacturer of the pump to see if they have a list of recommended UPS that they have tested and are known to work.
Alternately we would recommend you gather the following specifications for your load:
