Issues in ACRD 101.

This was originally posted on APC forums on 5/17/2016

We are using four In Row AC with HACS. We have issue in two of them.

1. The cooling given by the unit is OK but when its compressor starts then it gives unusual sound like motorbike whose silencer is bad or broken. The compressor is single phase and scroll type.

2. The cooling unit has gone abnormal. Its cooling is not OK. When the Rack Inlet temperature in the unit reaches to 30°C then also its compressor doesn´t run. The unit remains ON but Compressor remains OFF. When we manually push the contractor of compressor to ON then compressor remains ON but we had the alarm of low suction pressure and the compressor gives unusual sound like glass breaking.

Please support on this two issues in my ACRD. Now only 2 In Rows are operating in group.

Hello Jeevan.

For these issues please call into your local technical support to go over these units and to check out the compressors. These issues can be caused by a number of things and they will need to be troubleshot fully to determine the cause. Your local tech support number can be found by going to www.apc.com, select your country, then at the bottom of the page select the contact us link. The support team will need the serial numbers off the units, which can be found under the About InRow menu in the front screen or under the unit then identification tab in the web interface.

Thank you
