Insufficient and Sufficient Runtime logs continuously reporting in log/email

I have reviewed the logs on the Powerchute and we are receiving numerous email alerts with regards to insufficient runtime. Everything seems to be fine in the software

not sure what is causing this problem please assist. The Risk Assessment is showing problems with the Runtime, Battery Age = 9.2, UPS Age = 9.2 and Application Shutdown

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Hi,

Insufficient runtime means the UPS has insufficient battery power available to support the load for the amount of time set for Low Runtime Remaining. You need to decrease the Low Runtime Remaining threshold, decrease the load, or it could be cause by a battery that needs replacement. Since the battery / batteries are 9 plus years old I would start there. To test the battery unplug any computer equipment that is attached and plug in a lamp. Depending on the UPS model I would test with a 100 watt incandescent bulb. With the lamp on unplug the UPS for the AC source and time how long the lamp stays powered on then check the UPS runtime chart on APC.com to compare data. If the lamp shuts down quickly then the battery need to be replaced. 

The Low Runtime Remaining threshold can be found in the web interface under Server Shutdown - Shutdown Settings  then click Configure to see the page below. In a web browser running on the system that PowerChute Agent is installed enter https://127.0.0.1:6547
