APC's forum's e-mail notifcations...

Hello.

In my logged in account's http://forums.apc.com/myaccount/info/editprofile?profileCompleteStep=4, I see its "Receive Emails" options. According to Bill's http://forums.apc.com/spaces/4/back-ups-surge-protectors/forums/general/13496/question-about-2-noteb... post, it says I can disable from there but I still want e-mail notifications for forum threads that I subscribe to like my own. I don't want to be notified by everything like the forum threads I did not subscribe to.

How do I do that? Thank you in advance. 🙂

Hi,

You should not receive e-mails unless you have posted to a thread or requested to follow a thread. You mentioned that you received e-mail for 1 post that you did not want. Have you received others or just that 1?

It was in all forum threads that I never posted in. I had to disable e-mail notifications fully and use bookmarks (check once in a while).

Hi,

You should not get e-mails concerning threads that you have not posted to or requested. If it continues to happen post back and I will asked the e-mail / server admin to look into this.

So, how does one manually subscribe and unsubscribe to each forum thread.

It just happened again from https://community.se.com/t5/APC-UPS-for-Home-and-Office-Forum/bd-p/home-office-forum
-recognize-blackout/1#60934 ... I am going to disable  my forum's e-mail notifications fully again!
