APC mart-UPS srt5kxlt No Display on LCD

Just rackmounted APC SRT srt5kxlt. Plugged the battery connectors up. Plugged power cable to a L6-30 overhead receptacle.

I hear a click. see the nic light flashing and fans startup in the front. However the LCD display does not come on to power up the unit. The oval hole next to the LDC display has a red light. but still no display on the LCD to tell me any errors. I then unplug from the receptacle disconnect the batteries and reinstall. Same issue.

Please help

Thank you Craig

Re: APC mart-UPS srt5kxlt No Display on LCD

Hi @CraigP

Thank you for reaching out to the SE Community, my name is Jon and I will assist you with this query.  I understand that your UPS LCD does not turn on but you can see and hear that something is happening on the unit.

Let's try to perform the brain dead and cold start procedure on the UPS and note what would happen to the UPS while doing it.  Should we fail to recover the UPS, I highly suggest that you reach out to our team that handles your company for further assistance and/or an RMA if within warranty and needed.

Please see the FAQ below that shows the brain dead and cold start procedures.
