APC PDU AP7911A is not showing any reading in web UI

apc pdu no reading.pngEverything else looks fine with the APC PDU AP7911A

https://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/products/Rack-PDU-Switched-2U-30A-208V-16-C13/P-AP7911A

I have couple of devices plugged in already

but i do not see any reading when logged into the web UI

Also looking at the PDU physically also shows zero as reading also

What am i missing? Shouldn't this work by default???

is there a better place to get help with this problem?

Am not sure how a switched PDU will not give reading

I mean this is absolutely disappointing, this should work by default

Or is PDU just there to have stuffs plugged in and give reading?

Someone please help here, so frustrating to say the least

Hello

I am unsure how much power you are drawing from the individual banks, but if the attached load is very low, the units can have a hard time measuring them correctly, as detailed in this document:

-> https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156074/

If the above is not relevant to your unit, would you be able to give me the serial number of the unit?

Best regards

Tonny

Drawing enough power, about 100 watts

I mean what is use of a device that is dedicated to measuring power usage if it cant pick up even small power draw

SO even killl a watt is better than this enterprise PDU then?

or is it rocket science to pick up 10 watts for example

WM02YBB

Here is another annoying thing APC, when you login and close window and try to access URL, instead of it to know your login session and have you login, the junk thing takes you to login screen all over again and when you try to login in again it shows this

I am regretting buying APC PDU; will never even buy this junk product ever again

measuring power as primary purpose, can not do it
