The vendor’s Bill of Materials (BOM) shows a 70A breaker for the motor pump VFD. Is this the correct breaker size for 3 HP pumps with a full-load amps (FLA) of 4.8?

Breaker sizing for a VFD-driven pump depends on the overall system design, the specific VFD selected, and applicable installation requirements.
