breaker size
The vendor’s Bill of Materials (BOM) shows a 70A breaker for the motor pump VFD. Is this the correct breaker size for 3 HP pumps with a full-load amps (FLA) of 4.8?

Hi @Regulo , thanks for the question. We recommend checking with the vendor / person who issued the BOM. Breaker sizing for a VFD-driven pump depends on the overall system design, the specific VFD selected, and applicable installation requirements. He / she is the right person to confirm whether the 70A breaker specified is correct for the application.
