Hi,
from my Wiser mobile app (iOS) I have realized that some of my equipments have a low ZigBee signal.
Therefore, I bought a Smart Electric plug which is supposed to extend the signal, the Wiser Plug CCTFR6500.
This plug is properly linked to my network, and I can control it correctly. But, I have noticed something weird and have several questions:
1. Although it is linked, within the app, there is no preview of its signal like the other devices... Is it normal?
2. Since installed, there is no improvement for the devices which had low signal. Is there something to do to force the device to communicate with this repeater ?
3. Does the plug still perform its repeater feature if switched off ? I mean still physically connected, but not delivering power to what's connected on it.
4. Is there a way to configure the behavior of the LED like we can with the S520559 ?
As you can imagine, the most important point is to be sure that this plug properly extends the signal for the other devices please. Thanks !
Best regards,
R.

Hi @David_SE,
thanks a lot for those replies, it's very useful !
Still not convinced yet that this purchase was that much needed as there is only a small improvement for the signal 😅
But I'll play with it in order to find the best config. Thanks again

hi @RayRay23 ,
Thanks for your post and questions, please find below answers.
1. Yes it is normal
2. If you need to power cycle the device with low signal on its end location after powered your plug to force the device to find the better way to route its signals.
In case the signal is not improved, please reply here and give the device types.
3. Yes, if the plug is connected on a wall socket, its Zigbee part is activated.
4. There is no way today to configure the upper LED.
BR
David
